“Aaron and I met in 2015 – just two NYC transplants who happened to give the online match a try. With some back and forth banter, a few dates, and many laughs, we learned more about each other by exploring what it was like growing up back home.
Aaron learned that mangoes are delicious – all 20 variations of them – during our visit to Saint Lucia. I visited Nebraska in the fall and got to experience my very first ever Husker football game and even learned how to “throw the bones.”
After five years of dating, we couldn’t have been more excited about tying the knot and starting a new chapter together with our friends and family. We had a beautiful destination wedding planned in St. Lucia for August 10, 2020, but we had to cancel it because of the pandemic. Rather than waiting another year to get married, eloping seemed like a great compromise.
We found Simply Eloped while searching for an elopement company. After a lot of research, we chose Simply Eloped because it felt like the only company that truly allowed us to customize the packages and make it our own.
Central Park was the obvious choice because we live nearby and spend a lot of time there and have created so many great memories, it seemed only fitting that this would be the place where we said “I do.”
